For almost thirty years, the Make-A-Wish Foundation has been helping to fulfill the dreams of children with life-threatening medical conditions. Susan Holmes has been volunteering with the Make-A-Wish Foundation for the last five years, serving as both a wish grantor and on the organization's Speakers' Bureau.
As a wish grantor, Susan has met with more than forty children to learn what they most desire and to help make it happen. Her "wish kids" have requested everything from a trip to Disney World, meeting Robin Williams, a Sweet Sixteen birthday party and home theater. Through making these dreams reality, the Make-A-Wish Foundation enriches the child's experience, bringing hope, strength and joy to the entire family.
For the Speakers' Bureau, she attends fund-raisers and other events to give talks on behalf of the organization. Susan has also volunteered at several Make-A-Wish major and minor fundraising events over the years.
