Following the 1906 earthquake that changed the face of San Francisco forever, the Little Children’s Aid Junior Auxiliary was founded to provide for the children left homeless and orphaned by the 'quake and resulting fire. The original non-profit organization was the precursor of today's Catholic Charities of San Francisco.
Today, the organization plans and hosts volunteer service projects, events and fund-raisers to benefit homeless shelters for women, children and at risk teens in the San Francisco community.
In addition to sitting on the Board of Directors of Little Children's Aid, Accretive Solutions' team member Maureen Hurley was Chair of the 100 Year Gala, a pull-out-all-the-stops event in March, 2007 that raised over $100,000! 'Way to go, Maureen!
